'How Not To Write A Rom Com' is a 20-minute short proof-of-concept film. It tells the story of a besotted screenwriter, who attempts to win back the actress of his dreams by writing a script about their former semblance of a relationship. But when his beloved actress insists that somebody else should act opposite her, our infatuated screenwriter finds himself having to direct a better-looking version of himself in an intimate sex scene with the woman he loves.

Daniel Newman has written, directed, and produced a wide range of short films including "After The March", "Smoking Fist", "The Cannibals", and "X Marks The Spot".

Since this is a self-funded proof-of-concept, we are only able to offer £20 per day, to cover the cost of contemporary hair and makeup products.
