Hanging By A Thread is a 3 minute silent short film. The story is about David, he is a college student. The short film begins with David taking his final exam in which he does not know the answer to last question. The exam is vital to David’s success and passing the exam would be a turning point in his life and would allow him to land his dream job. The camera cuts to David in the future. He’s able to see himself were all his dreams were fulfilled and he landed his dream job. Suddenly David feels someone pulling on his trousers. He looks down and sees himself homeless. His homelessness was a result of him failing the exam. Back to the rich version of David, a thread attached to David’s back is cut and he falls to his homeless self. His homeless self hands him a paper containing the answer to the test question. Once he had received the paper David mentally returns to the exam room. He attempts to write down the answer but is unable to as the exam supervisor has torn the paper out of David’s hands.
