Online Workshops for Historic Royal Palaces
Zoom Through History

  • Project Details
Casting for an online education platform looking for new talented online facilitators:  Our aim has been to teach history in a fun, interactive way, whilst being as accessible as possible. This year we have partnered with Historic Royal Palaces to deliver 3 online workshops. We are now looking for 3 new facilitators/hosts to join our team to deliver these three exciting workshops:

Royal Homes Through the Ages (KS1)
A call for help from the past leads us on a time travelling the journey of discovery. Will we be able to save the King from embarrassment and what will we learn along the way?

    An Extraordinary Tudor (KS2)
This fun and interactive session give children the opportunity to examine evidence to find out what it tells us, and what it doesn’t tell us, about extraordinary Tudor Trumpet Player John Blanke. There may even be a chance for the class to meet him themselves.

    Equality and Influence (KS3)
This workshop explores and analyses the life of Indian Princess and suffragette Sophia Duleep Singh and her journey to become a campaigner of the right of women to have the vote. She was also an advocate for other marginalised or underrepresented groups.
