Seeking a Deputy General Manager to work directly with the General Manager, deputising for them as needed and supporting the smooth running of the Theatre Department. Alongside the General Manager and with the support of the Senior Coordinator team, they are a linchpin in the core administrative foundation for Theatre Department, providing communication, clarity and consistency, pre-empting issues and finding collaborative solutions.

The role is essential in keeping on top of the busy logistical needs of the Department as well as looking forward and ensuring everything is in place for upcoming work. Internally, the role acts as a bridge between all Globe Departments and the Theatre team, and externally, contracting for productions and building relationships with local businesses.

The Deputy General Manager role is varied and wide-ranging, requiring excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills with people at all levels. They hold responsibility for managing the stage diaries and room booking system on behalf of the Theatre, supporting important season events. The role ensures there is strong communication and relationships and maintains a clear understanding across the organisation of day-to-day operations.
