We are looking for a number of Freelance Producers to work with us on a variety of events, shows and exhibitions for the opening of our new venue this summer. We are looking for people at all levels of experience across a range of event types and art forms.

Factory International invites artists from across the globe to create extraordinary new work. We are preparing for our new permanent home opening this summer, a world-class cultural space being built in the heart of the city, where we’ll present a year-round programme and artists will be able to develop work of huge ambition and scale that they might not be able to anywhere else. We will still be inviting artists to make work at the Festival every other year, where the programme will burst out of the building taking on a variety of different spaces and venues across the city.

We are seeking committed and passionate people to deliver an internationally significant creative and cultural programme, which takes dedication but is immensely rewarding.

We match people to projects that fit their skills and experience, which means your start date and contract length will depend on the project you work on.

What we're looking for:

We are looking for Freelance Producers to line-produce commissions and events or support projects in development. If you have experience of project management or producing, if you love art and culture and if you like the kind of work we have produced at MIF, then we want to hear from you!

The Producer is a central role in the team and the organization, acting as the lead line producer for a project. You could be delivering a flagship project in and around the Factory International in the digital realm, across the city, supporting a project’s development or delivering it internationally.

The Producing Department delivers work across all our programmes at Factory International. We are a department of Producers, Event Managers, Production Administrators as well as the Artist Liaison and Scheduling teams. We come from a wide range of backgrounds and we think we get to produce some of the most exciting projects made today – working with artists on ambitious and ground breaking new work.

It would be great to hear from anyone who has skills & experience in the above areas.

Please note that these roles will be on site and in person, so being based in Manchester or within a reasonable commuting distance is essential.
