Casting "A Fanfare of Yellow Trumpets," a student film. Synopsis: The year is 1942 and the German forces are holding most of Europe. Every day more and more British men sign up to fight as desperation grows. My story focuses on a young man who is recovering from an illness, and his best mates, who decide to grow a garden together before the war separates them all. When it is time for the boys to sign up, our main character is left behind and vows to maintain the garden until his friends come back, or he is fully recovered to sign up himself. Once his friends are gone, we deal with his struggle of not being able to help with the seemingly endless horror that is happening over in France.
