Casting "Morris," a TV proof of concept. We are an award winning production company filming a proof of concept for a new TV Show. Synopsis: The oldest Morris organisation, the Morris Ring, had stuck to its men-only tradition for nearly 100 years. In 2019, all that had to change. The battle for all male groups was finally lost and women were admitted to its ranks for the first time. This is a romantic, character-led, comedy-drama, about the life and love of two people from different social backgrounds, who begin to fall in love when everyone around them gets in the way. It is set on the atmospheric North Yorkshire coast and involves a lot of Morris dancing. We are seeking passionate individuals to fill out our wonderful cast. We are preferably looking for locals to Yorkshire for the roles who are able to travel."
