Casting an actor for "Last Swim." Synopsis: Diagnosed with a life-changing condition, an ambitious and complex Iranian teen from London considers suicide. Will a eventful summer's day with her friends be the icing on the cake, or will it give her the drive to survive?

Ziba Soofi has had her promising future snatched away with an untimely diagnosis. On this hot summer’s day, a day which might be her last with any quality of life, she joins her friends for A-level results day. Ziba leads the pack on a precise itinerary through London which culminates with a “once in forty years” asteroid shower. Along the way she meets Malcolm Berry, a trainee football player who has just been dropped by his professional football club. An inconvenient romance develops between these two characters as Ziba considers how she might end this final day of untainted adolescence.
