Casting "A Clear Comfort," a play, Production states: "A live verbatim scripted performance about LGBTQI+ artists who are synonymous with their homes; such as filmmaker Derek Jarman and pioneering photographer Alice Austen. A promenade performance is presented throughout painter Vincent Van Gogh’s 1800s London home. Performed by 5 actors, the work includes an original score by Sophie Crawford. This new performance is being created by artist Ian Giles; his films and performances have been exhibited at galleries including the Whitechapel Gallery and Glasgow International Festival. Commissioned by Van Gogh House and funded by Arts Council England and the Elephant Trust. The short performance will be presented at the museum and be followed by a communal meal for the audience."
