Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesWork with editors, producers, and the Audience Development team to help grow search traffic to news and commerce-focused storiesResearch search trends and work with editors to improve headlines and publishing strategyHelp manage and execute curation, scheduling, and strategy for daily and weekly newslettersPartner with analytics and audience development leads to meet brand KPIs, define social and newsletter testing strategies, and conduct deep dives to identify audience growth opportunitiesSeek out global audience growth opportunities, from partnerships to platforms, and work with the Global Director to implement new strategiesProvide daily handovers to US-based team members, identifying traffic growth opportunitiesCollaborate with the edit and art departments on promoting longform features and strong subscription drivers on social platforms and newslettersAssist social team in breaking news situations, all-hands-on-deck events, and weekend coverageDevelop relationships with audience development managers across other Condé Nast brands to share strategies and best practicesWork with the team to support sponsorships and eventsEssential Skills & RequirementsExtensive experience in publishing, ideally having worked on both editorial and audience developmentStrong communication skills, both written and verbalProfessional experience creating, optimizing, and adapting content for platforms including websites, newsletters, video, and social media platformsProfessional experience with publishing and analytics tools, such as SocialFlow, CrowdTangle, Facebook Insights, Parse.ly, and Google AnalyticsA sense of humour and keenness to adapt to a changing media landscape and find audiences in new ways
