Phase 1 (unpaid) - attach talent to project.  First round funding is through crowd funding. Phase 2 is paid as negotiated or deferred.Looking for a brilliant screenwriter who has the knack for compelling story telling. The movie is an Independent docudrama movie about an immigrant family who migrated to the USA in the late 1800s and went on to be major Hotel tycoons in the Catskills and Jersey Shore. This is a true story.We need a screenwriter to take the facts and mold this into a compelling story about a family determined to come to the United States of America and find success. And how they dealt with poverty living in projects in NYC and went on to build and own some of the most luxurious hotels of their time. This story deals with the trials and tribulations of the depression. There's a strong backstory of commitment to family that dominates the story.Utimately this will be a paid position. We are going to begin the first round of fundraising by crowdfunding shortly. But in the meantime we want to bring a screenwriter on board who can commit a small amount of time up front to helping us frame the story. Willing to negotiate percentages and/or back-end deal as well.
