ASSOCIATE PRODUCER (PART-TIME): WRDW-WAGT’s Award-winning news team is growing and now offering entry-level positions for part-time producers. Excellent writing skills, able to adapt writing styles for both digital platforms and for broadcasts are a must.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:• Assisting full-time newscast producers with script writing, ordering graphics, verifying information received by the newsroom through various sources and other newsroom duties as assigned• Part-time producers must be able to work closely with producers, production crew, assignment desk, managers and field crews to meet multiple daily deadlines with accuracy and carry out a vision for a newscast• Other duties as assignedRequirements:• A degree in journalism, television production or mass communications• Previous experience writing for publications preferred and previous news experience a bonus• Must be able to and willing to work flexible hours, days, and nights as needed/scheduled• This position is approximately 28 hours a week and can lead to full-time employment.
