We are urgently seeking an Audience Outreach Assistant to assist with the day to day tasks of promoting and developing our current project.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Work with the Producer to develop and execute a marketing strategy; Mange and update Theatre Insomnia's Social Media accounts (twitter, facebook, Instagram,); Become familiar with, and periodically update Theatre Insomnia's website;Prepare written statements about the show for media release; Email various target groups inviting them to the show and offering various promotions; Assist in the development of our Fundraising campaigns. Other duties to be added as needed.JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTSMinimum 1 year experience in Theatre or a related arts field.Strong verbal and written skillsStrong command of the Engling languageProficient in Microsoft OfficeFamiliar with GmailStrong understanding of various social media platforms and their use for marketingExperience with GoDaddy Website Builder an assetFamiliarity with Toronto's Theatre scene and the Fringe Festival an assetWe thank all applicants for their interest; however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
