Your key responsibilities: The purpose of the job is to perform Content Services duties at an Operator level. - This role will contribute to the efficient file delivery of all Content Services Ingest, Playout, studio and outside broadcast functionality across a 24 hour period every day, delivering as per the requirements of Sky and specific third party channels. - You will work alongside, and in, other departments within Content Services, assisting in the transformation of Broadcast Operations into the industry's leading broadcast division, utilising the industries best practices, and therefore delivering a first class service to all clients, whether internal or external. Your skills: - You need to have a sound professional knowledge of the full array of equipment and procedures in their department. - You will assist in setting a vision of how highly motivated staff can work together to deliver excellence, through the development of a challenging departmental strategy, focused on the requirements of our clients and the delivery of a 1st class service.  - You will be the first line of communication for all clients, and therefore demands a high level of customer service and client focus, delivering against specific agreements pertaining to the acceptance, ingest, processing and timely delivery of content and its associated information and/or metadata. - We are looking for you to demonstrate experience, to a high standard of competency, in most, if not all, of the many disciplines currently carried out under the Content Services banner. - Experience within ingest, format transfer, studio playout, outside broadcasts, transmission deadlines, file transfers, removable media handling (ingest and outgest), Media Asset Management systems, and content tracking, are a must. - You need to be able to actively adapt to change, keeping abreast of technological advances to continue the path of learning and aid the continuing progression of the department as a whole and develop an appreciation of how Support structures work, reporting day to day frontline technical faults accurately through these.
