“Freelance” is an intriguing short film written by the multi-talented Director and Producer, Tre Alee. “Freelance” shows a slightly different perspective of the path a single father travels to survive and to take care of his young impressionable eight year old son. In his heart he wants to be on the straight and narrow, but the daily struggles are real. Should he lie about his five year incarceration or tell the truth and risk being without the necessary means to provide for his child? Instead of returning to prison for dealing on the streets, he finds another unorthodox way to make his money.
