    POSITION SUMMARY: The Project Manager will be responsible for assisting the Building Maintenance & Project Manager in administration of projects as assigned, to include, but not limited to, capital improvement, facility maintenance, facility expansion, cataloguing and maintaining blueprints and operations and maintenance manuals. The position will provide contract administration and scheduling coordination with the Woodruff Arts Center departments to ensure work is performed with minimal impact on business.WORK SCHEDULE:• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm, with occasional nights and weekends required as needed.• Expected Start Date: June 1, 2018ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:• Administers and supervises day-to-day capital improvement and contract activities associated with facility expansion, capital improvement, and facilities and renovation projects.• Serves as a liaison between the Woodruff Arts Center and architects, contractors, engineers and other persons or agencies in the administration of projects.• Maintains records and provides the Building Maintenance & Project Manager with a weekly status report of all projects.• Monitors cost and performance of work associated with all projects.• Reviews all contractor payment applications for projects, maintains records and makes recommendations to the Building Maintenance & Project Manager regarding payment of associated invoices and payment applications.• Coordinates owner’s inspections of projects including final inspections and commissioning.• Coordinates and facilitates pre-construction and progress meetings with contractors.• Ensures that all contractors comply with terms and conditions of contracts.• Catalogues and maintains all facility blueprints.• Participates in weekly departmental meetings as required.• Participates in and/or facilitate industry-related training.• Plans, organizes, prioritizes and assigns long-range work assignments and assist in creating long-range capital improvement budgets.• Catalogues and maintains all departmental operations and maintenance manuals to include incorporating additions and revisions, and removing deletions.• Coordinates with other departmental managers and supervisors, the use of resources such as equipment, supplies, work schedules and assignment of personnel in order to maximize the efficiency of overall departmental duties and responsibilities, and to conserve costs.• Maintains a professional image that represents the philosophy of the Woodruff Arts Center with emphasis on providing clients and exhibitors the highest level of customer service deemed possible.• This position requires an irregular work schedule, and performance of work assignments that may not be directly related to job specifications.• Performs such other duties, functions, special projects, and responsibilities as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
