    Disneytoon Studios has an exciting opportunity for an Environment & Events Coordinator to join our Glendale, CA studio.

    The Environment & Events Coordinator will coordinate day-to-day functions of the Environment & Events department including events, building communication, repairs and maintenance within the Studio. This role plays an essential part to the operation and culture of the studio and is customer service focused.

    The role reports to the Supervisor, Environment & Events.
    Responsibilities
    Employee Events

    Driving all Disneytoon Studios employee exclusive and shared building events
    * Plans, organizes, coordinates, and promotes programs and events including but not limited to: division meetings, executive dinners, screenings, lectures, wrap parties, service awards, team building, training and leadership programs
    * Source and oversee catering and other outside vendors needed for the events
    * Implement, schedule and oversee division screenings including film rentals, location for larger events, and media
    * Organize and promotes Community Outreach programs for division
    * Oversee merchandise for the division
    * Source new product and swag
    * Design and/or collaborate with designer
    * Maintain inventory
    Employee Communications

    Oversees the studio communication for the division to provide an excellent and efficient channel for employees to receive information, participate in our culture, and promote a sense of community and connection across the organization
    * Develops and maintains Disneytoon Studios (Internal) Web content
    * Maintains the overall look and feel of the site
    * Coordinates with studio stakeholders to update content in a timely manner
    * Designs internal marketing content to help promote events and programs
    * Maintains ongoing requests for use of studio space and helps to balance requests with availability
    * Develops presentations and communication tools related to key employee engagement milestones including Studio Business Updates, Employee Surveys, and Onboarding/Orientation
    Operations

    Coordinate day-to-day functions of E&E department
    * Point of contact for service requests for outside vendors (CBRE)
    * Oversee help desk and liaise with Corporate Real Estate (CORE) maintenance department on building issues
    * Solve issues, answer questions and respond to requests as needed
    * Support procurement for invoices and expenses related to E&E function
    * Provides ergonomic counseling and interfaces with Corporate Safety Program Administrator
    * Orders needed equipment and follows-up with user to ensure proper use of recommended equipment
    * Elevates ergonomic issues as necessary
    * Supports Crisis Management
    * Coordinates team; finds volunteers, updates master list, maintains team member binder data, coordinates yearly training classes
    * Ensures all team members have up to date material in case of event
    * Ensures building and supplies are in working order

    Basic Qualifications
    * Minimum of 3 years experience in an event planning or project management role
    * Strong organizational and follow-thru skills
    * Effective communicator, both verbal and written
    * Ability to work independently and within a group, performs well under pressure, and handles multiple tasks
    * Strong and proven customer service skills
    * Motivated, creative and highly curious nature
    * Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful, detail oriented and flexible
    * Proficient in Mac & PC, including experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote

    Preferred Qualifications
    * Experience with AutoCAD, and design software such as Photoshop and Illustrator a plus
    * Previous operations or facilities management experience
