The story is about two people, Amy and Peter, who are actively looking for love. The film begins showing both Amy and Peter in their homes, chatting on Facebook with the people they are going on a date with, later that night. We then follow both of the main characters throughout their day, getting ready for the dates, and while doing so, unexpectedly running into each other on numerous occasions. Because of that, they start developing a bond between them. They then end up going on their dates at the same restaurant, Peter with Suzy and Amy with Joel. Suzy and Joel turn out to be the wrong people for Amy and Peter, and just not very nice people to go on dates with in general. Amy and Peter end up leaving the restaurant together.
