About me
Berengère Mauduit's relationship with music started when she joined a children's choir aged 7. After completing a Master's degree in linguistics and music at La Sorbonne, she joined the Opera Works Programme of the English National Opera (2008/2009) and Marseilles Opera Studio (CNIPAL, removed ). She has received extensive coaching from directors Martin Constantine, Liam Steel, Alain Garichot, J.L. Pichon, Annabel Arden, Mike Alfreds, Lilo Baur as well as Cic Berry (Royal Shakespeare Company), choreologist Rosemary Brandt (Laban Centre) and conductors such as Ed Gardner, Tim Murray, Christian Curnyn, Marco Guidarini and Lawrence Renes. Singing mentors include Yvonne Minton, Diana Montague, Sir Thomas Allen and Sophie Koch. She regularly explores singing, physical theatre and acting in workshops at the John Wright's School, Complicite (includes work with Annabel Arden and Phil Headlam on works by G. Aperghis, J. Cage and C. Berberian) and with Singulière Compagnie (Vocal improvisation with Valerie Philippin) in Paris.Recent roles include :
