About me
I am a fun-loving character that really enjoys working within music and I try to combine extremely hard work and focus with lots of fun and fulfillment. I am a very easy person to get on with, very fair and honest, and also willing to go outside of my comfort zone to explore new sides to my ability and performance. I am a team player and can also lead from the front when called upon. I am very respectful of people in their own right, and have absolutely no ego at all. I have quiet confidence and just want to be the best that I can.Skills

Highlights
-
I have had the leading role in several shows with a very large amateur dramatic society including playing Galileo in We Will Rock You to a crowd of 1600+ every night at The Regent Theatre in Stoke-on-Trent. Acting also took me to the USA to appear in the New York fringe festival in a production called The Rippers 5 in a starring role, opening and closing the show with solo songs and monologues. My focus is currently on music but I feel I can call on my acting experience to good effect and could be interested in exploring this work more in the future.
-
I started life as a professional singer in 2007, having been in both original and cover bands since the age of 18, born from my A-level college course in Music. Based both in the UK and overseas/at sea, I have extensive experience from over 1000 live gigs, hundreds of studio sessions both for writers and producers all over the UK and for my own music, and have also appeared in musical theatre shows gaining professional credits in both UK and USA. I have a distinctiveness to my voice, but also the ability to adapt to sing in many styles, from Jazz to Rock, Pop, Soul, Swing and I also rap.
My voice is extremely durable having being trained by a record label endorsed and sennheiser sponsored vocal coach with international Top 40 clients. This was done at a massive outlay of capital but has given me the ability to stand rigorous singing workloads, including having recently finished a 4 month cruise contract singing 6x45 minute sets 7 nights a week, and I am currently doing a 6 night a week contract in Dubai. I treat my voice with massive respect and always warm up and warm down, and understand how to get the best from my voice.
As mentioned, I also have experience of working away from home and I am currently looking for opportunities to do more of this. I have worked on the sea in bands all over Europe, and also in the USA with theatre. I am very settled when away from home and can take on long contracts with happiness.
I have good movement ability gained from my background in theatre, meaning that I am at home both working with choreography and also have a big natural personality and confidence on stage for free-styling. I also play the keyboard and piano to an intermediate level and I can do a job in a band if needed.
I am a very amicable, extremely fair and honest person who gets on well with people and likes to work with like minded people. I am very driven towards my goal and want to be the very best, I work hard on maintaining a good image, and would love the chance to impress at highest level, and want to work as hard as possible to achieve as much as I can.
