Mandy's Surgery Session: Leila Bertrand CDG

To support our members during these unprecedented times, we continue to provide our talented community with useful professional resources. Together, we can make the most of this challenging time!

We have launched Mandy’s Surgery sessions as an opportunity for our community to gain valuable insights and advice from leading figures in the industry. During these sessions, Mandy members will be able to ask career-focused questions, as well as gaining advice on their CV, showreel and more.

We are delighted to announce that Leila Bertrand CDG will be doing a series of one-on-one sessions with the successful Mandy members on Thursday 28th May!

Leila is a renowned casting director and has worked on British and international theatre and TV projects. In recent years, Leila has worked at The Coronet, casting The Spank, rehearsed reading written by Hanif Kureishi, and the production of The Lady from the Sea, directed Marit Moum Aune, which led to Marina Bye winning an Offie for Best Supporting Actress. Recent international credits include Blue Smoke, directed by Ivan Brage and Another Day in Baghdad, directed Maysoon Pachachi. Leila works regularly with actors in sessions, Rada, MTA and Met Film School in workshops, specialising in monologue and audition preparation.

When: Thursday 28th May. Members will have a 30 minute slot, and this will be between 14.00 to 17.00.

Where: Zoom. The invite will be emailed to members that are successful.

Mandy Surgery sessions are run exclusively for Premium Members and applicants will be entered into a raffle to be selected. To be in with the chance of having a one-on-one session with Leila Bertrand CDG, all you have to do is answer the question below! Hurry, we will be closing the draw on Thursday 21st May at 15:00 BST. We will then contact the lucky winners on Friday 22nd May.
