About me
I have recently completed my MA in Theatre and Performance Studies at King's College London, where I completed modules on dramaturgy and the study of London in performance with distinction grades. I graduated from my BA in English and Classical Studies with First Class Honours and as a recipient of the Jane Holloway Award for Academic Excellence from Royal Holloway, University of London in 2016. During my degrees, I have worked in administrative and customer service roles in fringe theatre in addition to completing basic training in stage management and directing at LAMDA and Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. I am now looking to build on these experiences and pursue a career as a dramaturg as I believe this combines my practical experience in theatre with my strong academic background.Additional skills:
I have volunteered as an English Tutor for the educational charity Action Tutoring in inner-city schools in London for the past four years. I am passionate about giving every young person an equal opportunity to access quality education and I believe that the arts are a particularly useful way of increasing young people's interest in and passion for English literature and drama.
