In my current position at RED I establish and maintain relationships with Theatres across the UK. I book tours and theatre productions into these venues. I manage each show's production’s diary and schedule in and amongst a variety of other touring related production tasks.
From Feb 2018 to Oct 2019 I was Head of the Theatre department at production house Peracals Productions. With the Managing Director I curated short and long term creative and financial strategies, manage team and act as the face of the company. I also directly produce several projects while delegating some responsibilities to other skilled professionals.
From Sept 2017 to Oct 2019 I was Associate Producer at The Hope Theatre. As a core member of the team, producing in-house shows and supporting the theatre in many ways. I was responsible for creative and administrative tasks including PR, fundraising for the theatre, contracting freelance team and actors according to Equity Fringe Agreement, creative problem solving, budget management, artist liaison, developing marketing strategies,, reporting to the Board of Directors and deputising for Artistic Director Matthew Parker.
Working freelance I have produced successful runs of new writing including Sweetmeat (The Bunker, Theatre 503), Cream Tea and Incest (The Bread and Roses, The Hope Theatre) and The Finest Ruin (The Y Theatre), a site specific collaboration commission project with Leicester Council’s Story of Parks project. Responsibilities included managing a small team, taking responsibility for budget, private, public & crowd fundraising, marketing and project management. Supported shows in organising daily calls and developing marketing strategy.
My skills include:
+ A brilliant working knowledge of the theatre and comedy industry
