About me
I have recently completed a BA Costume course at Yorkshire Coast College, obtaining a 2:1 grade. I have constructed a number of costumes throughout my three years studying, giving me a varied portfolio of historical, contemporary and performance costumes. I am continuously learning new skills and wish to expand on my knowledge and experience of the industry.Additional skills:
Skills include:
*Costume design and interpretation
*Pattern cutting, including flat patterns and drafting on a stand for both historical dress and contemporary designs.
*Costume construction including millinery, corsetry and padding.
*Textile techniques, both wet and dry, including dying, printing, painting, latex work, felting (wet and dry), smocking, applique, beading, embroidery.
*Mask making
*I attended a ruff making workshop, tailoring workshops and a tutu workshop.
