About me
My experience as an actor - knowing how to hold an audience's attention, a scriptwriter - realising the first draft is only the beginning and as a director - where attention to detail is what really matters, together with my real passion for theatre provides me with an understanding and ambition to successfully fulfil any role.I have worked in theatres and schools across Wales as one of Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru's core actors and the Food Standards Agency (EdComs), and in England with ImpAct Universal. Two things have been consistent throughout - theatre and people. I have come to realise people can be like blotting paper and ink the things you communicate to them. What one drop of ink will do on one piece of paper will do something completely different on another, which for me is amazing.
Bringing people together with live theatre, turning them away from electronic forms of entertainment can be a way of bridging cultural divides. I have seen this happen in local communities across the United Kingdom working for ImpAct Universal, when communicating with people from different areas - from Hull to the most affluent of Kensington & Chelsea.
I believe I have both a creative mind and organisational skills. Creativity can't be assigned a time or schedule but once the ideas are developed, they can be the basis for a plan of action. I like to bring the passion and commitment with which I approach my everyday life, to each role I take on.
