I would like to further my experience on large scale tours internationally and in the UK and work my way up to ASM Book Cover.
After finishing the International Tour of CATs as Technical ASM in early 2020, I joined Highly Sprung as Stage Manager for their production 'City Beat'. I followed this with a short UK Tour of Gazebo's production 'Wanted' as Stage Manager on Book, which was unfortunately cut short by Covid-19.
While touring with CATs I assisted with the fit up/load out, the operation & maintenance of Automation & FOYs. I also took on the role of maintaining props and set to a high standard as well as the usual ASM duties.
Prior to 2020, I was ASM on the UK tour of Rebus: Long Shadows. I also have experience as Rehearsal ASM on Cameron Mackintosh's 'Miss Saigon' and previously worked as crew on a number of shows at the Birmingham Hippodrome.
Over the last year I have taken a strong interest in Aerial performance and started taking weekly classes, which has given me an understanding of what it takes and the needs of an Aerialist along with knowledge of rigging Aerial equipment.
I have always had a passion for puppetry, and I have previously had experience working with puppets while on placement on The Birmingham REP’s production of 101 Dalmatians. I would love to learn more about the construction and maintenance of large-scale puppets.
As you will see from my CV I have experience working on a variety of productions from large scale to mid-scale; as a Stage Manager, DSM and ASM. I have a good understanding of the role required, I can identify what each production needs and I am able to make/source and maintain props, consumables, set and set dressing to a high standard. I am excellent at solving problems under pressure and liaise well with all departments and external companies.
