About me
As a qualified makeup and SFX artist at degree level, i am competent at a wide range of skills, and techniques. From prosthetic sculpting, mould making, colouring and application, to hair and wig styling, postiche knotting and wig re-fronting.Although avante-garde fantasy makeup is perhaps what i am most known for, i am also passionate about these aforementioned areas of makeup, hair and prosthetic.
My interest in makeup began at a relatively young age, i was captivated by the idea of being able to transform the physical form. The ability to bring fantastical creations to life on a living, breathing canvas is a wonderful thing.
Having studied fine art and graphics design through GCSE, A Level and as a hobby, it was evident that my fascination with the physical form and my love for makeup would lead to me applying for the degree BA (Hons) Makeup for Media and Performance.
My pursuit of makeup as both a hobby and career over the past few years has led to me a number of achievements that i am proud of. I have had my work published several times in magazines including FEMME Rebelle and VOLITION.
I was also one of 8 finalists to make it through to Battle of the Brushes in IMATS London 2018 which lead to a feature in Makeup Artist Mag.
