About me
Last year I completed a foundation degree in Production and Technical Arts, Stage and Screen at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA). I am trained in all aspects of technical theatre.
I have worked as Sound Designer/ Engineer on plays at LAMDA. During my course, I completed work placements as Sound Assistant on two productions at the Open Air Theatre in Regents Park, ‘Hansel & Gretel The Opera’ and ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. Consequently I have a good working knowledge of radio microphones, their care, maintenance, fitting and operation.
During August of last year I worked at the Pleasance Courtyard during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as a Sound Engineer. During January this year I worked as a sound operator on two showings of the play 'Icarus' during the Vault festival in London
Over the last two years I have used a series of different sound desks like the DiGico SD9\10, Yamaha Q11 and the Yamaha LS9. I am also trained in using Q- Lab.
I am familiar with, schematics, ground plans, rig checks, patching, get in and get out.
