    About me

    jenniferlaurabaron.tumblr.com/

I recently worked for the Liverpool Playhouse, with the Young Everyman and Playhouse group (YEP) and designed the set and costume for a show called, "Intimate", which was a site specific piece, performed in the Camp and Furnace, in Liverpool.

I am currently studying a BA honours in Theatre and Production Design and Technology at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and about to graduate in July. It is a broad course where I am learning Costume, and Set design, as well as prop making and the basics in Lighting design and technology. The course is very challenging and we are given a lot of responsibility, in designing and producing our own work to be featured in public shows, inside and out of LIPA. I have been involved of work in university, and outside in Theatre's such as the Everyman and the Unity.

Before joining LIPA I received a high merit in an Art Foundation course, at Winstanley College, as well as a Diploma in Life Drawing. The Art Foundation course enabled me to explore different Medias of Art and Design, and greatly helped to enhance my knowledge of making and design skills.

I also studied 4 A levels at Winstanley College, and gained high B's in Graphic Design, Media Studies, English Language, and General Studies, as well as a level B AS Level in Fine Art.

I attended St Peters RC High school from 2001-2006 and here achieved 10 GCSE's, grades A-C, and here learnt my love of theatre, where I took drama lessons in and out of school, and was given my first responsibility as a prop maker and set assistant, for the show, "Romeo and Juliet", as my Art teacher picked up on my love and talents in Art.
