About me
With an MA in theatre directing and a BA from UKs top university Northern School of Contemporary Dance, I pride myself on having a multitude of experience and knowledge across all aspects of performance. Working as creative director for Proud Publishing ltd, one of London’s top Variety and Performance establishments, I curate theatre with Londons elite performers from concept to creation, encompassing comedy, dance, circus, music and song as well as managing all areas of tech and show production.
Having worked as movement director and assistant Director on productions in reputable London theatres such as The Pleasance and Jackson’s Lane I have acquired ample knowledge and experience developing plays, musicals and actor muso pieces.
I thrive when combining my knowledge in directing, choreography, dance and production and applying those skills to various projects whilst working with other creatives that enjoy developing and learning a varied array of skills.
Alongside my work as a curator I have maintained a career in education of the arts. I have been lucky enough to work alongside academies and colleges such a Newcastle College, Stage Box and Stages Academy to name a few. Having worked as a performer extensively for 10 years and gaining a high level of training from NSCD I thrive in the classroom/studio working with the next generation of performers, helping them to hone and develop their art and excel into the industry as confident and elite individuals
