    About me

    I am Camille Lesaffre, a 38 years old theatre technician from France, relocated to London since 2012.

    I have worked in several venues in France and the UK both in residency and freelance. My career began in Paris and in two years with no formal training I worked my way to Technical Stage Manager in the city centre. I have worked in several Theatre's in London, The Hampstead, The Cockpit and Shakespeare Globe to name a few;

    I have most recently been working at the National Theatre for the past 2 years in the Rigging department. This involved supporting the rigging supervisor and inspecting the equipment. It was always evolving and changing, as the National is a has such a high turn around of shows. I was employed there up until the lockdown;

    I am highly motivated, a fast learner, and work well within a team. I have worked in the theatre industry in Europe for a decade, and am looking forward to more opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills within Theatre, Film and Telelvision industry.
