About me
I am a London based performance practitioner, spoken word- and visual artist. I hold a First Class Honours BA in Drama and Theatre Arts from Goldsmiths, University of London and a First Class Honours MA from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in Performance Practice as Research. I have have worked mostly as an artist, dancer and performer and writer. I am currently assistant dramaturg on the production of the Cherry Orchard, directed by Simon McBurney and performed by International Theatre Amsterdam. My own performance practice explores the performativity of language and meaning- making, considers the personal, lives at the margins and draws from Language writing, Écriture Féminine, and Radical Lesbian Feminist Theory. My interest in language is not only reflected in my performance word practice, but also in my drawings. I take inspiration from concrete poetry and Avant-Garde artist such as Hannah Hoch and Jean Cocteau and conceptual artist Barbara Kruger.Referees:
