  Regularly work as Lighting Director for C-12 Dance Theatre, and as Technical Manager for Outspoken Dance.

  Also artistic Director for Afterglow Dance Theatre and Choreografilm. Has in addition worked as an independent LD, DSM and PM for 15 years.

  About me

  Having worked in theatre and events since the age of 12, I started out as a circus performer working with the unicycle, juggling and magic; and moved from here into technical theatre, specialising in lighting design, but equally experinced in stage management, production management, theatre carpentry, rigging, basic live sound reinforcement and some special effects.

  Through this and my work with physical theatre productions I moved on to train as a professional dancer and choreographer, and have worked as such, side by side with my design and technical work, for the last about 10 years.

  I have as well been involved with the lighting and editing of various professional film productions - mainly shorts and arthouse cinema - and am a skilled off line editor on Final Cut Pro and AVID. Currently employed by Middlesex University my focus is now on the teaching and develeopment of design and technical production; though I can also be found teaching contemporary dance technique at Pineapple Studios in covent garden from time to time, and I continue to do research into the use of interactive lighting and video installations for performance, as well as produce my own choreography and film work.

  Additionally I have worked for many years as a rock/rave lighting designer and continue to work on live events when I have the opportunity.
