Additional information:
I think Nick's main strengths are that he is a people person, is level headed, but still has a good sense of humour He has the technical ability, and has the qualifications to back this, but because he has been a gigging musician for over 15 years, has an insight into what musicians need and how they think. He does have a great sense of humour, although he does not use foul language, nor indulge in toilet humour. He loves music and because of this, stage related work is like a day off to him….its enjoyment…not work. As long as I have known Nick, he has always wanted to be involved with the music business. To this end he has been a gigging musician, a stage-hand, a recording studio manager, a very good live sound engineer with a good working knowledge of a mixing desk and rig. He has on a few occasions acted as stage manager in my absence at a few shows. From memory, two of these were a Georgie Fame and a Blue Flames gig in Aberdeen and a Bruce Katz gig in Edinburgh. Both are "difficult" artists, but were entirely satisfied with Nick's work. - Mark Trayner
