    About me

I have recently finished my MA at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where I studied Design for performance with major in Costume. Since then i have designed several different shows around the UK.

With my Scandinavian background and a degree in fashion, design has

always been an important part of my life. I approach every design with

thorough research and an open approach to where that design process might take me. This process is what I find most exciting in my creative practice.

I am a very open, happy person, who is very eager to learn and try new things. My designs are often very dramatic and conceptual and i am very passionate about theatre and performance.

My main creative influence has been observing different cultures, noting traditions, religions and simply differences in way of life. My childhood was split between living in Denmark and England. I am fortunate that my father works for Scandinavian Airline Services, this has enabled me to further fulfill this interest and exlpore the world. My job as a sushi chef took me to Japan as well as a tour of Asia. I have also undertaken design projects in Ghana where i collaborated across cultures to create teaching tools for the local schools. Having finished school in Denmark I have lived and worked in Cophenhagen, Paris and now Cardiff. Collectively this has provided me a real insight into life all around the globe and it’s this bank of experience that fuels my creative process.
