About me
Having started my professional life as a Performing Arts technician at Yateley school in 2005, I went on to study Drama at De Montfont University in which I was trained in Sound, Lighting and AV as well as technical and stage management. Since graduating, I became experienced in technical theatre working as a technician, designer, and stage manager on a variety of professional projects in London and national tours. For the last two years I have worked as a PA technician for King’s College International and have become very experienced in the duties and skills involved in all aspects of theatre technology.I have a passion for Sound and AV, and am a talented musician able to play a variety of instruments including piano, drums, guitar, and accordion. This passion has made me focus on music, AV and sound in my professional career and I enjoy working in environments where I can continue this passion.
I am a very motivated, hard-working and confident person with great communication skills and am also adapt in musical composition, video and sound editing on a variety of programs, as well as a talented musician playing a variety of instruments.

I am already experienced in many of the necessary skills for the job, including:
• Liaising with clients
• Creating a variety of alternatives to give the client plenty of choice
• Excellent technical-audio knowledge
• Experience in EQ on digital and analogue desks, as well as live music
• Operating lighting and/or sound and AV for performances
• Performing rig checks for light, sound and AV equipment
• IT literate and experienced in using multiple DAWs such as Qlab, Logic Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office, Garageband, and iMovie.
• Keeping calm, patient and positive as well as keeping focused and being well organized
• Experienced in all areas of theatre management, including skills in sewing, carpentry and soldering.
• Trained in health and safety in the work place.
• First Aid trained with Certificate
• Professional experience of different types of theatre in different venues, e.g. Westend, fringe, touring and rural.
• Well used to the often busy and moveable nature of technical work involving working hours, e.g. evenings and weekends.
• Good-natured, relaxed, hard working and well humored. Often told I have a happy, calming demeanor.
• Full UK driving license with Pass Plus and an experienced van driver.
