About me
I graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in July 2017 with a BA (Hons.) in Stage Management and Technical Theatre. The course covered technical skills and a full range of stage management skills. Over the years I undertook a range of roles (including Assistant Stage Manager, Sound No. 2 and general technician), on over 14 different productions. However, my main passion has been lighting both as the designer and LX board programmer.Since graduating I worked as a lighting technician at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as part of the Underbelly team. Most recently I worked as a freelance assistant lighting designer in the Canada Water Culture Space with responsibility for adapting and programming the lighting design, on behalf of the lighting designer. I was also responsible for attaching the LED pixel tape to the set and fixing the broken parts, I now feel very confident soldering LED tape.
Additional skills:
Soldering, QLab, Programming on GrandMA2 and ETC Ion, Counter weight and hemp flying.
