    About me

A freelance Theatre Maker and Community Facilitator predominantly working on collaborative work for non-theatre spaces.

Recent work includes creating theatre for social change with teenagers, creating drama with people on out of work benefits, and facilitating Play in a Day workshops for schools nationally. I have also recently spent 3 months working in Chile with Colectivo Sustento, creating theatre with prisoners and in youth detention centres.

Practised in working with diverse community groups including homeless, youth and refugee/asylum seeking status participants; particularly in the delivery of core drama skills such as characterisation, improvisation, storytelling and collaborative devising.

I trained as a Director on Hope Street Limited's Emerging Artist Programme, an intensive six months which allowed for independent work leading a large company, as well as assissting established directors such as Montse Gili, John Nicholson (Peepolykus) and Adam Mcguigan (Barefeet Theatre, Zambia).

Creative, very well organised and focused, I thoroughly enjoy working as a team to devise exciting new work in challenging spaces and forms.
