About me
I am Co-Artistic Director of Knaïve Theatre, I specialise in contemporary political theatre and work which provokes discussion and debate. With Knaїve Theatre I adapted and directed Karel Čapek’s War with the Newts for national touring throughout 2018. I directed and co-wrote Knaїve Theatre’s multi award winning Bin Laden: The One Man Show (extensive international touring) as well as Knaїve Theatre’s other pieces to date. Upcoming projects include directing the world premier of the opera of Edward Bond’s Early Morning composed by Laura Bowler. I also directed and adapted Impermanence Dance Theatre’s Baal (Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester & Bristol Old Vic, Indonesian Tour). I trained on the MFA in Theatre Directing at Birkbeck in 2015 after receiving his MA in Politics at Cambridge University.
