Stella, is the brainchild of Ruth Jones, the co-writer and co-star of the multi-award winning Gavin and Stacey. A Tidy Production for Sky 1 HD, Stella (10 x 60) is a smart funny family saga starring writer Jones in the titular role as a 40-something mum juggling the demands of life, love and the next door neighbour's horse. With a wealth of funny characters, Jones promises an authentic slice of the working class Welsh Valleys. Stella is scheduled to start production in March 2011 and will launch in early 2012. Ruth Jones and Barry Lynch will exec produce with David Peet as Series Producer.
