Graham Norton hosts Strictly Dance Fever as it throws the dance floor wide open, once again, to ten talented couples hoping to shimmy their way through the series into the spectacular dance-off for their chance to win £50,000.

The Strictly Dance Fever cameras have been roaming the country in search of amateur dancers with enough raw talent and rhythm to make it onto our TV screens.

During the first two weeks on air viewers can take a peak behind the scenes at the nationwide auditions as thousands of hot-stepping hopefuls do their best to wow the judges in order to make into the Strictly Dance Fever Mansion.

The judges hand pick the ten most talented couples who will live together in the Strictly Dance Fever Mansion learning fantastic new dance routines each week, tutored by the expert Strictly Dance Fever coaches.

Over the remaining eight weeks the ten dazzling dancing duos will strut their stuff on the dance floor, competing live on air every Saturday night hoping to survive another week in the dance extravaganza.

But each week, one couple must take a bow and waltz out of the Strictly Dance Fever Mansion until only three couples remain in the grand finale. Competitors must impress both the judges (to gain crucial points which will make up 50% of their final score), and the viewers at home (who will award the other 50% of the marks voting by phone or text) who will decide which couple has really got what it takes to become disco divas or supreme swingers.

Each week the couple with the lowest score will be eliminated from the competition losing their one chance to become the ultimate Strictly Dance Fever Champions

From salsa to swing, lambada to lindy hop, the competitors will be trying to set the dance floor and the nation's hearts alight with their newly learned routines in the hope of winning the praise of the judging panel and those all important viewers' votes.

Joining our resident judges, Arlene Phillips and Stacey Haynes, on the panel will be the legendary Wayne Sleep and former West End star turned TV star Ben Richards.

The show is a spin-off of Strictly Come Dancing, which focuses on ballroom and Latin dances, rather than modern dance.
