The series is set in Gwynedd in the area known as Eifionydd. Much of the action takes place in and around the seaside towns of Porthmadog and Cricieth.
This is a contemporary drama series which features the sights and sounds of an area where the Welsh language is still at the heart of everyday life. Mike Povey’s rich script reflects the sounds and idioms of this corner of Wales and mixes light and dark in equal measure.
The stories revolve around the lives of divorcees Les and Gloria, their daughter Gwenno and her husband Huw Dalar. They also feature husband and wife Meic and Audrey Parry, Gloria’s widowed father, Dic, together with Iori and his daughter Magi.
