About me
I’m a talented professional voiceover artist with a unique, naturally resonant voice described as warm, reassuring, trustworthy and relatable. My voiceover delivery is articulate, expressive and engaging. And my versatile vocal skills ensure I’m able to convey every kind of tone and emotion. So whatever the script, I’ll bring the right character to connect with your audience.
Based in Bristol, UK, I work from a fully equipped home studio, enabling me to produce top-quality voice recordings with fast turnaround times for clients worldwide.
I’m available to take on a wide variety of voiceover work — from commercials and documentary narration to corporate or explainer videos and e-learning modules.
As well as being a skilled voiceover artist, I’m also a successful writer and content creator. My 17-year media track record spans documentary production, copywriting and digital publishing.
I’m a natural storyteller with a passion for engaging and inspiring diverse audiences across different media using a wide range of registers and tones of voice.
And with extensive experience as a writer and editor — including BBC Television documentary creation and scripting for drive-time radio slots — I can also help when it comes to working on scripts.
I have been an active, recording drummer for over 20 years too. As a result, I’ve developed a strong sense of rhythm and cadence plus a fundamental understanding of audio production and quality.
Above all, I’m a committed professional driven by a single, unswerving goal: to elevate each and every project I work on, meeting deadlines and delivering exceptional results.
Home Studio
I record using an sE Electronics X1 S microphone with a pop filter and a Focusrite Scarlett Solo Gen 3 audio interface/preamp. I edit my audio using TwistedWave as my DAW and iZotope RX10 for any basic cleanup, etc. My home studio also features a fully soundproofed and acoustically treated voice booth. And I offer directed sessions via Source-Connect and Cleanfeed as well as video-conferencing tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and Skype.Skills
