    I am a professionally trained, award-winning actress.

    Having worked as a medical doctor (GP) before professional acting training I am very comfortable with medical and technical language and am used to delivering complex information in a way that is easy to understand.

    I have also completed counselling training which has added to my communication skills.

    I am half Swedish and fairly fluent in Swedish having spent a great deal of my childhood in Sweden.

    Short description of my voice

    My voice is warm and friendly yet can also be authoritative. I am told that I have a distinctive, clear, engaging voice.

    Having grown up in Yorkshire with a Swedish parent, my natural accent would be classed as 'general Northern' or a relaxed RP. I can heighten or downplay this to sound fully RP or more Northern.

    My natural accent is in the attached radio drama recording.
