About me
Hello. I am Steve Cosser.| have had 30 years of experience in broadcasting. I started a pirate radio station whilst at boarding school in the United Kingdom, followed by a two years stint at the British Forces Broadcasting Service and as a freelance newsreader at the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation starting at the age of fourteen. Returning to the UK, I worked in BBC local radio at Radio Teesside, My family then migrated to Australia and at the age of seventeen, I became an announcer with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in Brisbane, Queensland. I was soon asked to move to the much larger headquarters of the organisation based in Sydney, where I hosted a wide range of national programmes including Family Favourites which was broadcast every Sunday on BBC Radio 2 in Britain. My interests turned to journalism,.particularly economic and political affairs. I became a junior reporter in the news and current affairs section. After a year I was the Anchorman of the highest rating programme in Australia, A.M. I was then asked to move to the 10 Network, which at the time was owned by Rupert Murdoch, as the Anchorman of his groundbreaking television series The Reporters. I am now based in London where I am the Chairman of the investment company, Palumbo and run my studio and voice business.
