Highlights
-
Humor and compassion are my two favorite things.
They are the intrinsic gateways to understanding what it means to be human, and certainly the act of being human is an artform in itself.
I am, first and foremost and always, a storyteller. I am an actor, director, and teaching artist who has dedicated her life to creating transformative theatrical experiences. Work that examines social issues and challenges perspectives is where I have found my home. I am a fierce advocate for gender equality, freedom of identity, inclusion, intersectionality, and human rights. The focus of my art is to contribute to the work for equality by examining the societal lens through which so many of us see, and effect change for a healthier, more empathetic, and loving world. Through my art, I hope to share this passion with other women, young artists, and aspiring Good Humans.
I earned my Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2015, and have continued learning ever since. I've spent the majority of the past three years on the road, working and making theatre with children and young people between the ages of 5 and 18.
To date, I've been to 49 of the 50 states. I plan to continue seeking empathy and compassion in my work. And, eventually, ride every rollercoaster in America.
