About me
I am an actress from Surrey with English and Irish heritage. After completing a degree in Classics at Birmingham University I attended Brighton drama school The Academy Of Creative Training. I currently live and work in London.I have specialist training in physical theatre and clowning, after attending Ecoles Jaques Lecoq in Paris. I am also a cabaret and burlesque performer and singer/songwriter, working on various independent projects in London.
I have recently undertaken an MA in Art and Politics at Goldsmiths University, with the intention to make theatre and live performance that can help create social change. I am interested in creating community through play and the political power of silliness and joy.
I am passionate about the arts and social justice, I like to volunteer and help with projects in my local community, where my skills as an artist can help bring out positive change, inclusion and connection.
Additional skills:
Trained gymnast and qualified coach.(skills include handstand, cartwheel, forward/backward walkover, handspring, back flick)
Coached in ballet by Royal Ballet Soloist, Bennet Gartside. Basic training in Contact Improvisation and Neutral Mask.
Trained as a drama facilitator with youth theatre companies Perform and D.R.A.M.A.
Experienced children's party entertainer with skills such as Balloon modelling, puppetry, magic and storytelling.
I can hula hoop and play the ukulele at the same time, and have even written a song called Hulalele performed by my cabaret alter-ego Frieda Love.
