About me
Sound and music have always been a large staple in my life. I started playing guitar when I was 11 years old and found that it could bring me to a place that nothing else could. Growing up I started doing my own music production around the age of 15 and knew that there is so much more in the world of audio that I wanted to explore and learn.My undergraduate degree was in Interdisciplinary Studies, which was comprised of a blend of CS, Audio Engineering, and Music composition. During my time as an undergrad, I was fortunate to meet a lot of other talented designers, programmers, and 3D art generalists with which I collaborated and eventually started a company. We operated for three and a half years doing both game development and contract work for various outlets such as commercial, sub-contracted work for other studios, and much more. In 2020 we decided to dissolve and this led me to do contracting on my own until decided I wanted to attend higher education and go to a place that could introduce me to the right people and give me the focused and formal education I wanted in sound design.
Now, I'm attending the Savannah College of Art and Design as an M.F.A. Candidate in Sound Design. I've had the wonderful opportunity to work as a location sound mixer, sound editor, sound designer, and technical sound designer for both live films, animated films, and video games.
In linear sound design, I used float back and forth between REAPER, Nuendo, and Pro Tools depending on the type of project I'm working on and what it calls for. I'm well acquainted and use regularly RX 9 Advanced and many other iZotope plugins, Waves plugins, the Krotos Suite of plugins, Soundtoys, dearVR Pro, and many more. I'm additionally extremely familiar with Unreal Engine due to my experience in game development and am very eager to hopefully use some of this knowledge in an XR environment one day.
