About me
Lexi is an LA based director/writer/actor. Primarily focusing in comedy, her work explores worlds with subtle twists on reality using absurdist and dry humor to hone performance-driven narratives.With 14 years of industry experience, Lexi has worked on everything from feature-length films, television shows, music videos, and national commercials. She has experience working on location all around the country in every weather condition, as well as the comfort of a Lot and a Stage. She worked her way up from a PA to assisting Academy award winning director Steve McQueen, to directing commercials and music videos.
Her short film credits include ANCIENT METHODS (The Bush Films, Defy Film Festival, Hollywood New Directors Honorable Mention); SAD CACTUS, released on the i.O. Comedy Network; and CELESTE written by Nia DaCosta. Music video credits include MOTION by the LA-based duo Joyeur, and branded music video for Visit San Jose, featured on NBC11 and ABC7's nightly news.
Lexi has a BA in Art History from Bates College, is a graduate of the i.O. Conservatory Program (formerly Improv Olympic), and an alumna of Joan Scheckel Filmmaking Labs.
