About me
I am a writer, director, producer, and 1st Assistant Director of short films and music videos with experience in production assisting, associate producing, script supervising, sustainability coordinating and production coordinating. I am currently based in Los Angeles, CA and am originally from New Jersey, but am willing to relocate and travel for projects around the country and world (being of Polish and American citizenship). I have directed award-winning short films and music videos with my production company and website, Vulcat Studio and www.vulcat.com, with our latest film, "Rzezbiarz [The Sculptor]", winning Best Film at the Polish Film Festival Los Angeles. Also, I am currently a Production Sustainability Advisor on features at Netflix (Rebel Moon) and was previously a Sustainability Lead and Coordinator on series at HBO (BARRY, Perry Mason). I graduated USC School of Cinematic Arts with a BFA in Film and TV Production where I worked on various thesis films and learned organizational skills at various internships in LA (HBO, Indian Paintbrush, Writ-Large, Jim Henson Company, Voltage Pictures - Cannes Film Festival, etc.). My interests and aesthetic lean heavily towards an air of classicism, being influenced by 50s and 60s European cinema (Louis Malle, Jean-Luc Godard). Most of my films incorporate themes of coming-of-age "at any age" and bilingual travel narratives. I also have a background in classical and jazz music (piano and flute) and love to work on films that play with music and languages (I am multilingual, speaking English, Polish, and French fluently).
